MCpl. Terry Grabowski, CD (ret’d), joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in 1998. He served in the Regular Force with 1st Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment and completed a NATO deployment to Kosovo in 1999. He later transferred to the Primary Reserve with the South Alberta Light Horse, where he advanced to Master Corporal. He was an instructor for various training courses and qualified in armoured reconnaissance and other specialties. After releasing from the CAF in 2007, he worked in municipal enforcement and policing, later re-enrolling in the CAF as a Canadian Ranger with the Carcross Patrol in the Yukon, serving in leadership roles until 2022. A dedicated volunteer, he has spent decades supporting Veterans through various branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, earning multiple awards for his advocacy and community service.
